I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of California, San Diego, where I have studied since 2021.

My research is in Development, Urban, and Behavioral Economics, with projects on urbanization and migration, student mental health and wellbeing, crime and education, and the discovery and nurturing of talent. Much of my work combines field experiments with spatial and administrative data across Latin America, India, and Indonesia. My doctoral research is supported by the SSHRC PhD Fellowship (Canada) and the NBER PhD Dissertation Fellowship on Identifying and Nurturing Math Talent.

Before my PhD, I was a Predoctoral Research Fellow at the Development Data Lab with Paul Novosad and Sam Asher (2020-2021), and a SIEPR Predoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University with Paulo Somaini and Brad Larsen (2019-2020).

I also mentor a group of undergraduate researchers through the Undergraduate-Graduate Research Lab at UCSD, and I share resources on predocs, AI tools, data, and research methods.
